Members of the Grafton Group

  Dr. Dow 

      Dr. Dow created The Doctoral Doctors as a way to help others achieve their dreams, as he and the other members of the Group have done.  He earned the PhD – including a three month study with several experts in Europe - while employed full-time as a management consultant.  He has prepared written materials for the National Research Council and participated as a member of a panel of the Marine Board of the National Research Council.  He retired as Professor of Management at a college in the southern United States.  He has mentored four doctoral candidates.  His areas of interest include high risk systems, organization strategy, and family history.

 Dr. Charlene 

      Dr. Charlene is the stabilizing force in the Group.  She earned the PhD from a major mid-western institution.  She is currently Professor of Management and Chair of the Department of Business Administration at a college in the southeastern United States.  Her areas of interest include management, labor relations and labor law, and corporate governance. 

 Dr.  Dave 

      Dr. Dave is the newest member of the Group, having joined in 2009.  He earned the DMin degree while working full-time and administering a growing congregation.  He holds adjunct professor assignments with two private universities in the mid-west and serves on institution committees.  His areas of interest include organization growth and development, psychology, and corporate governance.

 Dr. Jack 

      Dr. Jack is the creative force of the Group.  He earned the PhD from a major university in England in the field of marketing analysis.  He is currently employed at a southeastern United States college as Professor of Marketing and Director of the Division of Marketing.  He mentored two doctoral candidates in information technologies and statistical analysis.  His areas of interest also include marketing measurement, technology applications, and data mining.

 Dr. John 

      Dr. John has been with the Group since its inception and is a former colleague of Dow, Charlene, and Jack.  He earned the PhD at a major east coast university.  He retired as Chairman of the Department of Business Administration from an extended university in the southern United States.  He has mentored doctoral and graduate-level candidates and has served as a management consultant in the mid-east.  His areas of interest include economics, global development, and operations management.
